Position Summary:

Gorton’s, America’s leader in Frozen Seafood is seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic (10 PM to 6 AM) at the processing facility in Gloucester, MA. What you’ll do:

Skilled mechanics are needed to service and maintain production equipment in our processing facility.  Responsibilities will include setting-up, adjusting, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on food processing and auxiliary equipment.  

What you’ll need:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent technical training
• Prior work experience in a mechanical industrial environment, preferably with a consumer-packaged goods company
• Availability to work overtime, including some weekends
• Applicable mechanical aptitude, process and equipment knowledge, and basic math and computer skills
• Self-starter with a positive, conscientious attitude
• Ability to work effectively with others and in a self-directed manner
• Permanent U.S. work authorization
