Position Summary:

As a Finance Manager, you will work with various departments supporting Financial Planning and Analysis activities. This role will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, reporting, new item launch support, and oversight and development of financial analysts. The position, reporting to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, offers a unique opportunity to learn Gorton’s financials as well as provide an opportunity to enhance your analysis knowledge and leadership capabilities. You will quickly contribute to Gorton’s business objectives as a senior member of Gorton’s Finance Team. 

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee business segments P&L’s, profitability reporting, and new product development.
  • Partner with different departments to develop budgets, revise forecasts, and support key metrics. 
  • Manage team of 1-3 financial analysts while working collaboratively with other Finance Managers.
  • Identify and communicate key responsibilities and best practices to financial analyst team.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis.

What you’ll need:

  • 8-12 Years of financial analysis experience, management experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or Business-related field. Master’s Preferred.
  • Excellent leadership skills with relevant experience in consumer goods or food products.
  • Initiative – a self-starter with great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A successful attitude, strong confidence, and teamwork to achieve business results.
  • Ability to leverage information for insightful business judgement utilizing well-developed PC skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Must be able to work cross functionally across various business teams.
