Position Summary:

Perform buying functions, including contact with vendors for the negotiation of price and relevant terms

  • Purchase of packaging and ingredients of the Seafood Center and Co-Packers
  • Maintain cooking oil contracts and releases for oil for Seafood Center
  • Utilize MFG-Pro for inventory needs and managing incoming materials
  • Maintain existing partnerships with our suppliers and continually look for efficiencies and productivity savings.
  • Manage and minimize material write-offs
  • Work with Americold personnel to resolve receiving & inventory discrepancies
  • Attend team meetings and work closely with marketing on package development
  • Procure new packaging options.  Work closely with the Packaging Engineer on new products and package sizing and testing.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business discipline
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strategic thinker, problem solver with exceptional follow-up
  • Ability to perform at a high level under pressure
  • Team player
  • Self-motivated, strong work ethic, passionate
